About The Neurodivergent Mum
Created by a neurodivergent mum, for real family life.
Welcome to The Neurodivergent Mum — a space created from lived experience, with neurodivergent families at its heart.
I'm a neurodivergent mum of three, and some of my children are neurodivergent too. So I understand that family life doesn't always look the way we imagined it would.
I've experienced the beautiful moments, the challenges, the sensory overwhelm, the endless searching for things that might help, and the feeling of trying to navigate a world that doesn't always seem designed with neurodivergent people in mind.
And that's a big part of why The Neurodivergent Mum exists.
A business built from lived experience
The Neurodivergent Mum began with a simple idea:
What if finding practical support didn't have to feel so overwhelming?
I've spent plenty of time searching for resources, ideas and products that could make everyday life a little easier — whether that's supporting regulation, managing sensory needs, creating routines or simply finding ways to make our home life work better for our family.
I wanted to create a place where other neurodivergent mums and families could find practical options without feeling judged, overwhelmed or expected to have everything figured out.
Because sometimes, you don't need another person telling you what you're supposed to do.
You just need someone to say:
"Here's something that might help. Have a look and see if it's right for you."
From digital resources to practical products
The Neurodivergent Mum started with digital resources, created to provide practical tools that families can access from home.
Now, we're growing.
Alongside our digital resources, you'll find a carefully selected range of sensory, regulation, movement and everyday products.
I'm intentionally building this collection slowly rather than filling the store with hundreds of products.
Each product is chosen with the same question in mind:
Could this genuinely be useful to a neurodivergent person or family?
If the answer is yes, it may have a place here.
There is no one-size-fits-all
Being neurodivergent is different for everyone.
What works for my family might not work for yours — and that's completely okay.
I'm not here to tell you that there's one perfect routine, one perfect sensory tool or one perfect way to support a neurodivergent child.
Instead, I want to give you options.
You'll find resources and products designed around areas such as:
- 🧠 Sensory needs and regulation
- 🏃 Movement and sensory seeking
- 🔇 Noise sensitivity and overwhelm
- 🏡 Creating calmer, more supportive spaces
- 📋 Organisation, routines and everyday life
- 💻 Practical digital resources
My hope is that somewhere amongst them, you'll find something that makes your day a little easier.
Growing with you
As a mum and a small business owner, I know that life is busy.
That's why I'm committed to growing The Neurodivergent Mum thoughtfully and intentionally.
Where possible, I'll look for quality products from Australian suppliers and businesses, while continuing to create practical digital resources that you can use in your everyday life.
This isn't about creating the biggest store.
It's about creating a useful one.
A place where a neurodivergent mum can come and think:
"Maybe there's something here that could help us."
You're welcome here
Whether you're a neurodivergent mum yourself, a parent supporting a neurodivergent child, or part of a neurodivergent family in another way, you're welcome here.
You don't need to have everything figured out.
You don't need to do things perfectly.
And you certainly don't need to navigate it all alone.
From my family to yours, I hope The Neurodivergent Mum can make finding a little extra support feel just that bit easier.
With love,
The Neurodivergent Mum
